40FT Container of Korean Used Auto Parts Shipped to Lattakia, Syria
In this project, we successfully exported a 40FT High Cube container filled with Korean used auto parts to Lattakia, Syria during October–November 2025. Since Syria enforced the complete ban on used-car imports in July 2025, the demand for Korean used auto parts has grown rapidly. Hyundai and Kia vehicles dominate Syrian roads, which makes Korean parts extremely attractive due to compatibility, durability, and stable supply. This shipment included halfcut for Porter, Mighty, engines, transmissions, suspension parts, body panels, electrical components, ECUs and LED lamps, all sourced, dismantled, cleaned, inspected, packed, and loaded by IST Motors.

How Many Days Does It Take to Complete One Full Container?
For most buyers, one of the most common questions is how long it takes to complete a full container of Korean used auto parts. On average, it requires about one month to finish a complete 40FT container. Once we receive the buyer’s order list, we begin visiting the dismantling yards and partner scrapyards we have worked with for years. During this period, we carefully source each item—engines, transmissions, body panels, electronics, and fast-moving parts—ensuring every component matches the buyer’s specifications.
All purchased parts are transported to our warehouse, where they are cleaned, inspected, and organized for loading. After collecting the full quantity, we complete the final packing and execute the loading process following our optimized container layout. This end-to-end process ensures that the buyer receives a fully customized, clean, and professionally prepared mixed-parts container ready for international shipment.
Do Buyers Need to Visti Korea?
Many overseas buyers ask whether they must travel to Korea to purchase Korean used auto parts and prepare a full container. The answer depends on the buyer’s region and preference. In the Middle East and Africa, it is common for buyers to visit Korea in person, spend several days with us, and travel together to dismantling yards across the country. By visiting multiple scrapyards, they can inspect parts directly, negotiate preferred models, and participate in the entire loading process. This hands-on approach gives many buyers confidence, especially when selecting engines, transmissions, body panels, and electronic components.
However, buyers from South American countries such as Chile and Peru typically do not visit Korea due to long travel distances and higher travel costs. Instead, they usually send us an order list and allow us to manage the entire process on their behalf.
